PostHeaderIcon 55. Etude House Black Charcoal Chin Pack review

I'm finally getting around to reviewing this mask! I've been thinking about it for a long time, but just never was in the mood to do it. Btw, these are going to be some of THE most flattering pictures of me you will ever see in your life. Enjoy. :)

゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。゚・:,。☆

If you guys remember, I purchased this in my 3rd G-Market order (here)

Packaging...

Sorry, I got makeup all over it. It's a very cute packaging with clear English instructions, but what else do you really need besides apply and peel? Etude House always impresses with cute packaging though, so I wouldn't expect anything less than adorable even for a chin pack.

What it says...

Formulated with black charcoal additives to remove oil and pore deep sebum. Patch tightens pores and contains Aloe Vera to improve chin complexion.

[Active Ingredient] Charcoal Powder 0.1%

What it looks like.

Now then.

Are you ready for the most attractive picture of me ever?

......

....

..

BAM!!
Now that is one sexy chin, amirite? (^ε^)♪
Seriously though, this was the only way I can show all the bumps, yuck.
Now let's apply the mask.

Application...

[Directions]
Wet chin with water. Remove clear film from pack and fasten adhesive side to chin for 10~15 minutes. Remove strip when dry.

I followed instructions exactly, and left on about 15 minutes.

Now let me tell you... the smell is not pleasant. (`×´) I usually don't mind the smell of charcoal,  but maybe it was the extra non-mentionable ingredients in this pack?

The result?

Do you see anything? I don't really either... I think it's mostly fuzz lol

I felt my skin was a little softer, but that's about it. It removed some of the bumps, but for the most part they're still there.

Price...
On G-Market, this was only W500 ($0.49) at the time I bought it. To try it out, it's not bad at all, but considering shipping costs and the fact it did nothing for me, it wasn't really worth it. Although, I am glad I purchased this because now I know to never buy it in bulk. :D
If you're still interested in purchasing it though, here's the G-Market page I bought it from (HERE)

Overall score... 0.5/5
I gave it an extra half-point just for getting rid of a couple bumps and price. Maybe a few more uses would work, but I don't want to spend my money to try. A disappointment for me.

Sorry to hear it didn't work!! ;A; But your chin, I bet does not look that bad. Of course close up pictures will make everything seem worse! XD

This is really scary... that looks like the black nose patches that biore makes overseas except... FOR YOUR CHIN??

Try using some toner. I notice that if I use an alcohol/benzoyl peroxide based toner/astringent that my blackheads get smaller. remember to moisterize afterwards or your skin will be overly dry which leads to wrinkles

Aww, too bad it wasn't very good. Meh~ :( Skinfood's Black Bean pore pack thing is quite good, only it's for, er yeah, nose. ^^;v But anyway your chin doesn't look bad at all, I swear! :D "Now that is one sexy chin, amirite?" ROFLMAO! You're too adorable! <3

Darn.... I was hoping that you'd found a product that'd work on that tricky chin area. :/ Mine's a lil' bumpy, too, so no hate on that uber-sexy pic you posted. ;P

Ah well. Thanks for the review: time to look elsewhere for solutions... hm...

Also, the snack your boyfran brought? It almost looks too good to eat. Literally. Haha

I've never seen the chin version of this brand's stuff!! Ack, I never have luck with those type of pads either (nose versions) but nevertheless. Seemed like a good idea though.

Hahaha!! Love this post and the pictures of your chin! I want that chin peel! I've been using the FACESHOP mud nose pack for my entire face... I don't think we're suppose to do that, but hey... it works. Kekeke ;D

Aww, well I don't think chins have ever been considered sexually appealing, lol.
That stinks it didn't work for you =( But it's always worth a try right?

Man....! I was thinking I would like a chin thing too! I was gonna see if a nose strip thing would work for it, haha. XDDD But I'm sad this didn't work... at least it was cheap... orz

GET MOORE CANDY DOLL AND DOLLY WINK!!! <3
Also, I think the Sesame Grey would look SEXY as heck on you!!! I mostly don't care for brown lenses too much because I already have boring brown eyes, and I have a pair or brown lenses already. XD
If I were to get one, it would be the almond~
But grey, I think it would look too gorgeous on you! >w<

Also, I have tried the CD high lighter, but I suck at makeup... XD;;; So I'll let you know when I can use it properly, lol...
BUT, Philosophy (you can find the brand in Nordstroms or Sephora) has this GORGEOUS pinky, but not too shimmery highlighter that is amazing. T_T It's only $25 too! They might still have a deal where if you spend $50, you get a cute free gift that has a bag and some cute small sample sized stuff. :3
Anyways, it's really light pink, so it's like... the most gorgeous thing ever. *w*

ahhh I wanted to try that!! etude house packaging is just so cute! I would probably buy the whole line of products just because of how they look xD

it seems that nose pore strips/chin strips never work as well as you think they will ): I still have yet to find something that will successfully take out black heads!

and that pastry really does look AMAZING ♥ yum

I have to admit I laughed a lil when I saw that chin picture. Not only because it's sexy, but because my chin looks EXACTLY like yours. I hate those bumps. They're not visible when you relax your skin, but when the skin in that area is pulled tight..all those tiny bumps appear. And they seem to only appear right underneath the lip area too! The lower part of my chin doesn't have those bumps. It just has a few(or a lot T__T) of acne scars.
But those tiny bumps aren't just on my chin area. They're at the sides of my mouth too! I don't know anyone else who has that. x[ I hate having bad skin genes!!
