HAHAHA, you should've seen his face. He LOVES to teach people all sorts of things, but in reality he knows SHIT about breeding. I get a lot of shit because my parents breed registered kennel club dogs (and they cost up to $2,000 per dog), because "Well, those breeders are just greedy! Everybody knows that it's cheap to raise a litter of pups.. and bred dogs from kennels have so many diseases bla bla more bullshit." Like are you freaking kidding me? People are so ignorant >_>" Yet they love to preach.

Yeah I know : / I'm so damn worried.. Back in the day the vets didn't even bother going through with surgery, because the chances of recovery were so small. Now they use those keyhole surgeries (is that what they're called? -_-"), so the damage to the bone isn't as massive. The vet who's doing the surgery said that she'd need to be kept inside for the next 6 weeks, keep her calm for the next 2 weeks and then slowly let her do some swimming to get her knee back into functioning. But after those 6 weeks she should be limp free : D
Awh I'm so happy that your dog recovered<3 Nothing better is when a dog falls and you see it pick itself up and come back with double the force and joy for life! If Freja doesn't get through this, I'm worried that my mom will break down completely. She sooo badly wants to keep a puppy after her, because she's the daughter of my dad's old brown male that we lost 1½ years ago. So yeah.. : / she's so important to both my mom and also my entire family in general<3

Really? O_X" My biggest issue is the freaking SPARKLES! ARGGHHHH they make me go nuts! Nothing is more important to me than animal welfare! : D I LOVE dogs so much! <3 They're my EVERYTHING! I happen to like dogs more than humans. A dog will NEVER stab you in the back, it will never lie and it will never turn its back on you. They're so beautiful, loyal, supportive and loving <3 I love them so much! I'm sooo grateful that my parents decided to raise dogs as a certified kennel. We never had no dogs for as long as I've been alive! : D I love it! I wanna get a cream coloured Chow Chow male when I 'grow up', tho. I don't want a dog as big as a newffie until I can get my own house with a big yard etc.

Anyway, there is a HUGE difference in Newfoundlands and Landseers. As you said their bone structure is VERY much different - Newfoundlands have a fluffier fur, they're more solid and have bigger bones. I also prefer their mushier heads compared to the skinny, small-headed landseers >_<" Landseers are ugly. LOL. At least if you ask me. Landseer is basically the definition of a 'failed' newfoundland. HAHA

OHH I'll teach u anything I can that you wanna know : D I can learn a thing or two myself, but I'm pretty confident with my 'knowledge' (Professor Nani, said. LOL. Just kiddin').. I'd love to see a photo of Puppy! : D I call all our puppies 'Baby'. Of litter we had here a week ago of 8 puppies, I called them all 'Baby'. Haha! It's much easier to call them all by the same.. They don't develop decent hearing until the 3rd week, so I doubt they mind. xD

I believe Freja turns 4 this year.. I think she's only 3. O_X" not completely sure tho. But I'm quite confident that she's 3. LOL

Anyway, it just annoys me SO much. The journalists here LOVE to write articles about how bad they are, while in reality the articles they write are complete bullshit. There's just been a few incidents where a dog was laying at the side of the road and some by standers had said that they'd seen an amstaff around the area so they were CERTAIN that it had bitten the dog or at least forced it out onto the road to have it run down by a car.. I'm like "Are you freaking kidding me?".. -__-" how DUMB can people be? It turns out that the dog had a biopsy done - it was never bitten by any animal, it had simply been run over by a car. Some people SERIOUSLY claim that the pitbull-looking dog FORCED the dog onto the street because it's suuuch an evil dog. -__-" Even a double-facepalm wouldn't do it in this case. I'm almost bashing my head against a wall. Like are you KIDDING me? Before the journalists have also just written 'fighting dog' or 'muscle dog' (as the banned dogs are also called - which is stupid as all dogs have muscles -__-) about incidents where dogs were hit by cars or attacked by regular dog breeds (German shepards, dachs hounds, berner sennens, Great Danes etc.) - this is all getting so fucking stupid. It's quite obvious that with all this commotion, the media got the result they wanted, which is FEAR. And if people are afraid of something - they try to DESTROY it. Which is EXACTLY what everyone's doing right now. It's so fucking pathetic. I feel like I live in a country of MORONS.

The middle points (which is 8.6 mm in circle lenses) is how far there is from the middle of the lense, to the outer edge of the middle. You know when you have the lense on your finger, you can see from the side that it creates that half-circle? It's the radius from the bottom (where your finger is) to the edge of the lense (the part you put ONTO your eyes) That's what they mean by 'base curve'. Ahh, it's hard to explain >_<"
